Healthy Indoor Environment
Healthy Indoor Environment (HIE1) covers the fundamentals of indoor air quality, healthy housing materials, and ventilation needs to ensure the home’s occupants are healthy and comfortable. Most North Americans spend upwards of 90 percent of their time indoors -- choices made during construction and renovation can impact their quality of life. You will learn how to identify, remedy, and avoid pollutants. Each of the 3 modules has a quiz at the end. You need at least a 70% grade in the quiz at the end of each module to proceed to the next (there is no limit on quiz attempts). There is no final exam on this course.
